Café Frank is an eatery, grocery store and wine shop located on beautiful Bree Street in the Cape Town city bowl.

We offer freshly prepared honest food and artisan items to eat in or take-away.  Also on offer is a picnic option, catering options for functions, and for this time of year, a range  of Christmas produce such as puddings, cakes and stuffings.

Our focus is on fresh ingredients;  ethically-reared meat and poultry; small artisan producers, and biodynamic wine farmers.  Each ingredient and item is carefully selected (directly from the producer where possible) to ensure we ofer you the best quality product with the least negative impact on our environment.  Our lamb and venison is from the Great Karoo, as is our cheese; the free-range chickens and eggs are from Elgin and Malmesbury respectively, and we squeeze our fruit juice each day.Bree Merry

Our food is made for today- no preservatives or artificial flavourings are used.  We have a simple, honest approach to food.

To be Frank, we are here to make you something delicious and good to eat.

80% of our packaging is compostable, and what isn’t, can be recycled.

Hello Phillipa. It is recommended to order in advance as we can’t guaranteed availability of all produce. It’s fine to still place your order on Thu morning, but I wouldn’t leave it later than that. We close at 18h00 on a Thursday, please let me know what time (approx) you wish to collect.

Thank you for your enquiry. Regards, Debbie

    Hi Debbie

As you know I am a great fan of your food. It is really scrumptious – the salads and chicken superb. Hope you dont lose that individual flavour with your food.
